$445 1 Bedroom, Carroll Gardens We are two easy-going girls in are mid-20's and we aren't looking for any particular type of person, just someone who is respectful and someone we'd enjoy living with. Our friends live in the Apt below ours (2 guys and 1 girl all in their mid-20's). Since there are only 2 Apts in our bldg, we have the whole place to ourselves! The room available is the first of the 3 and closest to the living room. It is 12x8 in size, windowless and does not have a closet. With the cheap rent, large rooms, hardwood floors, huge living room and a separate kitchen, it's definitely a nice place to live. Plus we live in one of the most desirable "Up & Coming" areas around. On the brink of Carroll Gardens and Red Hook "The Columbia Waterfront District" is close to some of the best dive bars, restaurants, the piers of Red Hook and conveniently located close to a gym and just a quick walk away from the Heart of Carroll Gardens, Smith and Court Streets! We are just a 10 minute walk from the "Carroll stop" on the F train. If you are interested, we'd love to meet you. Thanks!

$565 Great location, huge room/apt., no lease, move in Dec 15th (Upper West Side) This 3 bedroom apartment is in the BEST LOCATION. You will be sharing with 2 very clean girls, young professionals, who travel and are gone often. The apartment was recently repainted with brand new furniture in the large living room. The apartment is 5 blocks from Columbia, near the 125th St. 1 train stop. It is a very quiet street and we are the top floor so no noise from neighbors upstairs or nextdoor. It is one block from Riverside Park. Our block has everything - pizza for $1.75, sushi, bars, chinese, restaurants, laundry, dry cleaning, dentist, etc. Kids play baseball in the street, a great mix of locals and young people. The A and D express trains nearby take you to the LES in 6 stops and the M60 bus to LaGuardia is next door as well. The flat has access to the roof which is private and romantic, a great place to chill, sunbathe, drink, etc (not so much in the winter). We just celebrated my 26th birthday up there. There is a shared large living room, kitchen and bathroom. Your room will be the biggest in the apartment with two windows, fire escape access, room for any size bed or bookshelves, armoire, etc. We are young professionals, fun, chill, well travelled. We are looking for somebody who is also a young professional and can be dependable with rent. You must be able to keep the place clean. I'm done living like a poor student. If you're chill and have a social life we can have a great relationship. If you're an introverted homebody, we might get sick of always having you in the apartment. Its a great apartment and I plan on keeping it that way with others who are smart, social, not lazy, respectful, and fun. Rent is currently $565 a month for the large room. In addition, one month security deposit is required upon move in. Utilities average like $60 a month for internet, DVR and electricity. There is no lease to sign or year-long commitment, just ask for 2 weeks notice before you decide to move out. Thanks.
